Woah.
It has been tiring.
I sleep 3 - 4hrs a day. And lots of manual labour from work.
I am confident I'll get thinner, get some arm muscles, and have really huge bags for eyes.
I'm enjoying myself on set with the crew. It's fun working with people who have the same passion, and on top of that, lots of crap!

To further enlighten everyone, I've been working on an independent feature film called "Exposed!". Grab a copy of 8 days. I think it'll be featured or something. Or if you read xinmin newspaper, it's there. Anyway, the place we've been shooting at is this really OLD dilapidated HDB block. It's located right opposite Zouk. And it's an entirely different place altogether. The road is a divider between two opposites. One of youth, wealth, and nonchalance, and the other, of age, poverty, and of struggle. These are really people whom we hardly get to see on the streets. They live in a 1 room HDB flat with just the bare essentials. The place is filthy. And I really do mean it. There's faeces everywhere. Litter thrown down from windows, which nearly killed us once in a while, loads of old lonely people, mentally ill people, and poverty. Did I just mention Zouk was just opposite, together with Copthorne Hotel? The air is filled with staleness of life, and of course the faeces.
Time seem to stop moving when I'm in this world. The corridors are poorly lit and the atmosphere just makes you depressive. I seem to appreciate the things around me more now and feel that I'm not in a poor position at all. These people do need attention. Where on earth are the authorities!? It's infuriating just to think about these people in need, and the hotels and clubs just down the road.
I felt that I haven't been keeping my eyes open and that they have been kept closed for some time. People are not exposed to the things that are just right beneath their nose. So what if we see these issues on TV? It's just a television programme. But being there is totally different altogether. Go check it out for yourself.

Comments:
I agree its totally different when you see it portrayed in the media as when you experience it yourself.

It makes my heart ache whenever I see these people. Hopefully, the film will bring more attention to their plight.
