It's a wrap! Another full length feature completed. I like the feeling of working with the same small group of people for a month or so. You get enough time to know each another and talk loads of nonsense, and do stuff together.
Although I wake up really early in the morning every day for the past month (it's really quite a drag), I really love what I do! The rigging of lights, running here and there to get stuff, the time constraints on the lighting department's side, and the solutions we lay out for the situations which involve us to hide stuff, and to make sure they won't get seen when the film is screened on the big screen. I go home sticky, smelly, and sweaty everyday, which is really uncomfortable when you get stares from people walking pass you, or sitting beside you on the bus/train. But I still love my job. I already can't wait for the next job offer!
Last night was a night of youth and childhood innocence. After watching Man U being humiliated by Chelsea (I should have just gone to the movie.. I'm really sorry!), we decided to do it ourselves and to play football. If they can't score, we can! It was so super imprompto, I was kinda surprised at the turnout. Initially, some didn't want to, but by the powers of peer pressure, they had no choice but to relent. WAHA. Here, i gotta say a big sorry to the girlfriends of those dudes for being a major part in the peer pressure. We hardly played for half an hour before the lights went out. WHO SAID THAT LIMBANG LIGHTS WERE 24HRS?? Being the kids we were, we play in the dark though we could hardly see. We all felt 10 years younger, being brought back to the old sec school days where we just did crazy stuff and just have a good laugh after that. I've known these people for 11 years goddammit! Since we were kids!
I've got that feeling coming back to me again. Wendy maybe you could advice me, since you're in that situation as well? I'd like to say "I think so" too. Hmm.
Here's a song I believe everyone's gotta sing.
Beck - Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Change your heart
Look around you
Change your heart
It will astound you
I need your lovin'
Like the sunshine
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Change your heart
Look around you
Change your heart
Will astound you
I need your lovin'
Like the sunshine
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
I need your lovin'
Like the sunshine
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
