Phew, what a long day.
Came back from the 'Reccos retreat' in Bintan in the afternoon. Had lunch and ate like we starved for days, which in actual fact was the case. Watched Aeon Flux which wasn't as good as I expected, but Charlize Theron was worth it I guess(?).
So what did 9 boys and 3 girls do in Bintan? As it was a really ultra budget trip, all we did was the free stuff, i.e beach, beach, and beach. Boardgames, table soccer, buggy racing, table tennis, swimming. I must repeat that all that we did were free. Not only was the activities on a budget, so was the food. Name any brand of instant noodles, we have it. An assortment of canned food were also on the menu. Everyday was a beer day (which really totally rock as they were duty free). From the sound of it, it might seem really boring to any individual out there. But we had oh so much fun. It really is the company that matters, not the event, the place or the activity. This group of boys have been my bestest buds since the creation of mankind. The girls... Well, I don't know them that well as they are my 'sister-in-laws'. I hope they enjoyed themselves with a bunch of hooligans for the past few days. Although I might not be on the same wavelength with the boys on certain occasions due to differing looks and views on certain issues, and likes, I do believe we have already gone beyond that of just common interests. I hope we all feel the same way.
Though I left the place without a tan, a chick, or getting laid, it still was as enjoyable as any other time I spend with them. Yes, we will have many, many, many more years to go. Don't let me down Reccos!
