Oh my goodness. I gotta work on my karma. I think I did too many bad stuff. The number of unlucky events that come my way seem to be increasing. My punched eye, bak gua knee, the killer chlorine in the swimming pool incident, celibacy acne, leprosy like sunburn, and here comes the next 'Edwin Cheng's Series of Unfortunate Events'. My cup of kopi exploded right in front of me. Think flying glass fragments. It was another pure 'WTF' situation. The cup serously just blew up in front of me, leaving hot coffee everywhere, and glass all over my sweater. It added a few minor scratches on my leg too. Though glass did fly to my face, thank God it was only the small parts, which did not go into the eye. Imagine if I actually held the glass to my mouth and took a sip of coffee before it blew up. You'd be standing at either my bedside in hospital, or my grave in Lim Chu Kang this very moment. Ladies and gentlemen, have you had a really 'WTF' moment? Do share it with me in my comments. This exploding glass thing sure did make its mark in my books.
I just figured that I'd be doing some serious hardcore film watching this week. The Animation fest, and the Resfest. Alrighty. So far, the Animation fest hasn't really tickled my balls yet, but I can't wait for Resfest. Screenings at 12pm, 4pm, 6pm, in a single day. I'm like gonna spend my whole day at NAFA! Wow. Thanks to this fests, I've gotta think of when I can do my photo shoot. And goddammit I have to hand it in by next thurs. I'm so dead.
I think I saw a certain someone's god-brother on the bus today. Knn, I still can't stand the way he looks at me.

aiyo... its a bad idea to ever pour hot fluids into glass... Same thing happened to one of my cousins.. I saw the whole thing and I stood there totally shocked... He was bare chested and all the tiny bits of glass stuck on his skin he was so freaked out :p Thank GOD he was okay after the pieces were taken out...
BTW ah, do not heat drinks up in the microwave too... Hot fluid flying onto one's face has also been documented.. However, do not ask me the science behind it.. I forgot liao.. Just don't do it :p

I had a cup of hot water explode in my hands before too. It was hot water, but harlow, it was the kopitiam cups loh.

but I think the suayest thing that happened to me was... *ponder: too many incidents*
... when I was the supervisor for an established jap executive restaurant and I swept a cup of hot green tea onto one of the big client's expensive suit.
