It's really interesting to see the reaction from faces of common friends who find out we're together. Hehe.
The days have been kinda weird recently. I can be extremely busy from work on one day, then on another day, I can be ultra bumming. But I fully appreciate both the busy days and the bumming days, but of course, all things must be kept balanced... The busy days get me money to survive and for us, and the bumming days allow me to just chill out, spend time with loved ones, and with my beloved room. The coming months are gonna be hectic and I think I must start to prepare myself mentally for it. We'll need help in so many ways for our thesis film, so whoever reads this and thinks he wants to volunteer and help in any way, and can make himself available from the 11th to 21st Aug (tentatively), do drop me a mail or drop me a message in my comment column. I think I'll need more grips..
I think life has been really good for the past few months. I'm thankful but am worrying about the karma circle thing. I know it sounds dumb but it really is kinda freaky. The last best thing that happened to me was just a year ago, and then bad times, and now good times. So does it mean that once the current good times are over, in come the bad times? Oh well, I'm christian, so I shouldn't even bother about karma. Amitabha.
I miss you people: Wendy, Natasha, May, Huizhen, Sandy, Joe, Donald/Thadeus/Mel, Enny, Alexius, Goose, Evan, Shiqin, Sam, Sean, and many others. Those who see their names here should give me a ring soon so we can meet up soon before I MIA again. Why you call me and not I call you? So that I know when you're free!
Oh, those not mentioned above should be people I've seen recently or very often, so don't sulk.

Futon, Oh, so fantastic. Pun intended. And I already pull ear and confessed to her about it...
Anyway, the gig at Barnone on Sunday was a blast. I did not regret the taxi and entrance fee just to catch them. The gig was just too short! But the energy was awesome!
Well I guess I've been missing for some time and people out there have been sniffing something... I've been busy with freelancing, and I am seeing someone. I'm so very glad I found her, that's all to my disappearing act I guess. In fact, I want to tell the whole world about her. Everything just fell into place just like that, and the stuff that link us together are so freakily coincidental. Oh well, I guess I've said my piece.
Yes, I love her.

Just too surreal. Imagine youself among a swarm of united people chanting, "POTONG PASIR, CHIAM SEE TONG!"
"Mr Chiam, have you watched this HK movie called, 'Election 2', I think you better watch it and prepare yourself for the next election... You'd never know what the whites might do..."
Some cool banners made by the united people of Potong Pasir.
This is POTONG PASIR!
This is me, after my area, Bukit Panjang, got thrashed by about 70%. Sigh. I've done my best.
What a night!
The voting results were good. Although it's still the same 2 opposition seats, the results should be enough to tell the Whiteys to stay on their toes. Enough of that. Let me move on to my adventure in the little town of POTONG PASIR!
The whole evening was totally surreal. It was something I never would expect to see in Singapore. Tons of people filled the streets. Cars were honking as they went by. Windows were wind down, exposing outstretched arms with crys of "POTONG PASIR CHIAM SEE TONG". Everyone were smiling. People were pleased. Will we get these from the whites, who in fact are the big winners and should be "happier"? The people loved Mr Chiam. You could see heads sticking out of the windows cheering for his win over the turf, and people banging on drums. It felt to me like I was in a rock concert, and it just ended, and we being the groupies, followed the star. Everyone wanted to shake his hand and congratulate him, as well as congratulating themselves for picking him as the right choice. Even I, being from Bukit Panjang, went down to witness the glory of the whole event.
It was all just too surreal.
Potong Pasir Chiam See Tong.
Rock on man.

I love this song!
When I heard it from 3 times, I knew I had to get it.
I LOVE THE SONG! And the first installment on 3 times.
SO SWEET!
Roussos Demis - Rain and Tears
Rain and tears all the same
But in the sun, you've got to play the game
When you cry in winter time
You can't pretend, it's nothing but the rain
How many times I've seen
Tears coming from your blue eyes
Rain and tears all the same
But in the sun, you've got to play the game
Give me an answer of love I need an answer of love
Rain and tears in the sun
But in your heart, you feel the rainbow waves
Rain and tears both for shown
For in my heart, there'll never be a sun
Rain and tears all the same
But in the sun, you've got to play the game
When I heard it from 3 times, I knew I had to get it.
